Want to introduce your students to more advanced technical skills they can use for journalism, including powerful web publishing options and even programmatic and data analysis tools? This session will show you how using GitHub Codespaces, a free virtual machine that runs in the browser and comes with a number of useful tools, including access to large language models in a controlled environment. The presentation will include an optional hands-on demo for participants who have a free GitHub.com account.
