This session introduces the essentials of middle school extracurricular/after-school journalism programs, including news sites and podcasts. The speakers will walk advisers and students through exercises that help with brainstorming content, outlining and writing style based on experience working with a staff where middle schoolers make up about half the writers and most of the podcast team.
